Best 3G Deals from Vodafone

Vodafone are our current best 3G Deal provider.

With their excellent "3G USB modem stick lite" for free on a 12 month contract, with 3GB per month data allowance for only £15/month, we can almost let them off not reducing their charges in line with the VAT reduction.

 

Vodafone have by far the lowest out of bundle charge of £15/GB (compare O2 at £200 per GB) and while this could be lower still - it represents the best of the bunch at present.

 

The supplied 3G modem works in almost any laptop and the supplied software installs automatically and operation is near seamless.

 

3G connections work well in low signal areas and the dongle automatically falls back to a 2G connection if there is no 3G coverage - and also reconnects to 3G when possible.  While much slower, the 2G connection is still usable, but rather tedious for opening attachments or downloads, but this is a 2G limitation rather than any reflection on the Vodafone service...
